Tēnā koutou, welcome to our October newletter

Planning the AGM and the Annual Report created an opportunity to reflect on the previous year – and what a year it was! This year’s Report contains stories about donors, sponsors, volunteers and community groups. One theme that surfaced repeatedly was how important each of the roles are that we play in making our Community Foundation such a success and how we have woven those elements of together to create a Community Foundation with an exciting future. I thank you all.

The Annual Report looks a bit different this year - we hope you enjoy reading it and welcome any feedback you may have. In particular I'd like to thank the brave people who put themselves forward as examples of donors to encourage others to follow in their footsteps - you are an inspiration.

We have also been busy supporting the 2024 grant round - our biggest yet. We'd like to thank the donors and community organisations who together create ripples of positive impact across our region. We look forward to telling you more about this impact as our local community organisations start working on their projects.

The end of 2024 will see us focusing on planning for 2025. As always, we are open to your ideas, suggestions and feedback so please get in touch if there is anything you'd like to tell us or know more about

Thank you once again for your continued support
