Kia ora and welcome to our winter newsletter!

It has been a privilege over the last few months to meet more donors and community members. I have attended many events across our region of Te Tauihu (Top of the South)  with highlights including a donors' afternoon tea in Tasman, a sponsors' breakfast at the Brook Waimārama Sanctuary courtesy of NBS and attending the Marlborough Funders Network workshops. All these events enabled me to interact face to face with community members and learn more about how our Community Foundation can best serve us all.

A lot of effort has also gone into our 2024 grant round which will be the biggest grant round in our history. We have increased the amount available from an individual grant to $8,000 which, among other changes, will lead to great impact in our community. We thank all our donors and supporters for your part in this as without you this significant milestone would not be possible.

We are currently receiving accountability reports from the recipients of the 2023 grant round which are inspiring to read. We have presented two of those as Impact Reports below so you can share in this process and learn more about the important results we can achieve when we work together.

Ngā mihi nui - thank you to you all
